Catch Me If You Can by Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert is a 1965 Broadway mystery-comedy, adapted from the French play Trap for a Lonely Man by Robert Thomas. The play is set in the 1960s during Labor Day weekend at a remote summer cottage in the Catskill Mountains. An advertising man’s bride vanishes while on their honeymoon. A mysterious woman appears claiming to be her, backed by a priest, and a bumbling detective arrives, creating a web of confusion and suspicion. This comedic whodunit is full of twists, and red herrings, leading to a surprise ending.
